What Software is required to use Range Manager?

Range Manager has been developed as a add-in module for the  MapInfo Desktop GIS System. Other versions are being considered. Send us an  email message if you have an interest in other Desktop GIS Systems.

Unknown Error when Range manager attempts to create a polygon

  Range Manager  must be installed in a directory which does not use long file names. i. e.

c:\RangeMan - will work

c:\Range Manager - will not work

Line location offset from points for Convex Hull Home Range?

  Range Manager  has been Updated 09/18/98 to correct a Rounding Error created when exporting points from Mapinfo.

Is there limit to the maxium number of points which can be used for Home Range analysis?

No.  Range Manager  has been designed to use an unlimited number of points. It must be noted that the time required to compute a Harmonic Mean Home Range will increase dramatically as the number of points increases.

What coordinate systems does  Range Manager support?

Where  Range Manager  operates as a  add-in module for the MapInfo Desktop GIS System, all of the coordinate and world projection systems avialable in MapInfo can be used.
